Summer begins...

when we get to go to the pool! I can't post the real first trip to the pool due to nudity (by teya)! Grandma Paula let us come over to the pool with her to check on some things and before we both knew it, the girls were in the baby pool swimming in their clothes. Then before we could look again, Teya was having her own nude pool party! It was pretty funny!

We love going to the pool! This year Tai is old enough to take swim lessons and Teya just wants to be left alone to have fun, so I have to watch her really closely! Here was our first official clothed trip to the pool: The girls love to swim with eachother, although I have to watch that they DO NOT do this in the water: I am just paranoid that they will drown eachother!

This is how I find Teya a lot of times! She goes underwater with her eyes open and paddles her feet and hands, pretending to swim. When she comes to the surface, she says, "Mommy-I sim"
Little Tai loves the water even more this year, if that is at all possible.

Tai Anna

Here are a couple of my favorites with Tai. She is so good to just let me take her pictures! And Yes, those curls are her own, no faking! It makes me so jealous!

Janie Bop

I actually had a second to take some pictures of Teya since i failed to take her 2 year pictures. She wasn't really into cooperating, which isn't all that uncommon. But I did get a couple cute ones, with the help of Jake!

I love random pictures. So I thought this was pretty cute! Besides the fact that Teya loves to hang out the window and get all wind blown, these are a couple of my favorite summertime things; my girls and the pivots!

Kendall & Jake

One day we were out fueling the pivots and Kendall came out. They were standing there talking while I was in the work truck trying to keep Teya from tearing apart the already gross and a little repulsive inside of that truck! It was then I realized that I don't have to many pictures of Jake and Kendall together. So I made them stop their conversation for me to take a picture. Now if you know the Quarnbergs, there are 5 total boys (father & sons) and when the camera comes out, each one usually looses all feeling in their face, and you get these great pictures that have no expression! Don't get me wrong, I love those type of photos (NOT)!!! But I was pretty impressed that I caught both of these cowboys SMILING!!!!!

Karter Archie!!!

Kipp, Mal and Karter came up last weekend. We got together to take pictures of him and hang out! I just wanted to post a couple of the pictures that we took to show everyone how well he is doing. I get asked a lot how he is and as you can see, he is getting big and looking healthy! He is now 18 months old and just as full of it as before. He still has a long road to go, but he is definitely on his way!

"CAUTION" NuDiTy

I have been potty training Teya for a couple months now, but nothing was really clicking. That is until she found a pair of panites on the porch (I have no idea how they got there, really). She decided that this was the day to wear them, although she didn't know how to get them on properly! I don't think that I have laughed that hard for a while.
This is the front view:side view:
and full on butt view:

My eyes are watering right this second from laughing! I just love it! She makes me smile!

A potty training update: Since this day about a month ago (posting it a little late), she has done so good. No more diapers, accidents only once or twice a week, and will actually go get on the potty and do her thing without me knowing and then yell "mommy, potty 'gain"!

Preschool Graduation

In May, Tai had preschool graduation. She was so excited! They got to sing 5 of their favorite songs that they learned over the year and then get their diploma.
Here are the kids waiting to walk in:
One, two, three, four five, I caught a fish alive,
six, seven, eight, nine, ten then I let him go again.
Why did you let him go, because he bit my finger so.
What finger did he bite, this little finger on the right!
Miss Melissa (aka Miss Alissa) was such a good teacher. All the kids loved her!
The graduate and the onery sister! Aunt Cee-cee finally took Teya outside to play on the toys so that we could watch and listen to Tai, instead of crying Teya!

Daddy, mommy & Tai! We love you so much!

New Family Pictures

I wanted to have pictures taken at the last moment before Jake left for Reno and before the barley was cut, so I called my friend Bree and asked her if we could photographer swap, she took ours and I took hers. The weather threatened us all day, but there was a break in the rain for a bit and we decided to go for it. My only complaint was the wind, thus my hair everywhere! I think they turned out good, Thanks Bree!!

Cute pictures of my girls

I haven't taken any pictures of my girls for a while and so I thought it was time! We went up to Grass Valley to change water so I took my camera.

Teya is absolutely infactuated with dead dandilions. Everywhere we go she has to stop, pick one and blow it until every last seed has come off. So you can imagine my frustration trying to get her to focus for just one split second, those things were everywhere! But they make for cute pictures! Tai is my "Little Miss Pose"! Sometimes I have to rein her back in because she gets really posey, but she does good for me!

Fun, Friends, and a Really big blow up water slide

The Mason's invited a bunch of friends over to let all the kids play on their blow up water slide. The kids, or should I say girls, because that is all anyone has, had a great time.
Lily, Marnie, Hallee, Brickley, Rilee, Tai, Boston, Katelyn, Teya, and Ivy!
Tai loves the water, so it didn't really matter that it was FREEZING!

We are glad that summer is here!

Teya just thought that the water guns were drinking fountains!

Hanging at the Q's

This year on Mothers Day, we went over to Paula and Kendalls for lunch and to hang out! We always have a good time on their back patio and sitting in the sun.
This is Kendall's position, I have so many pictures of him just like this:
Tai took some pictures of daddy walking around:

and a picture of Tanner's foot. I must say, she did pretty good on the focus with this one:

Tanner busted out the swinging chair and Tai wouldn't let him have it all to himself. She sat and swang with him for a while. This is their "attitude" picture:

I had to try hula hooping. I haven't done it in years. It really isn't as easy as it looks, but once I got it down I tried two and then I tried the one around my arm at the same time. This shot totally looks like I might be doing it:
Happy Mothers Day-My best girls:

I love these two so much!Another Happy Mother's Day to the three mothers that were there:
Me (mother of 2), Paula (mother of 4), and Grandma Whicker (mother of 4)

What would I do without these two?

My girls and I just have so much fun together! I just can't even believe how much I love my girls! They are my life, my joy (and pain-especially when I get hit with a toy) and my world-along with Jake (who isn't pictured)! :)
The many faces of us:

Just like the old days

Braydan, Jake, Travis and Nate helping to clean out one of our new sheds. They found some pretty cool stuff out there. They each got to take something home with them, Braydan took the colorful shirt, Trav took the sweater vest and the tie that hit him mid chest and an old geometry book, and Nate took the sports jacket! They were all laughing so hard.

Killer new ride

My mom and dad came down for a visit, and they brought their new car! My dad has been scoping one of these out for months. KSL.com, local dealers, you name it, he's been on to see what kind of a deal he could get. He finally found the right price for the right car. It is pretty darn cool, zooped up with all the bells and whistles! Dad, I love it! When can I take it for a spin?

A day at the beach

On our last day in San Diego, we decided to hit the beach. At first it was somewhat chilly and we weren't sure if the sun was ever going to come out, but the San Diegan's that we were with kept promising that the clouds would burn off and it would be beautiful. We kept waiting and waiting, and then finally, the sun came out! It was such a nice day and the kids were so good. They just played and played and played. None of them were scared of the water and the temp. of the water didn't matter either!

Tai and Payton-they had so much fun together on the whole trip. They got along so good!
We all had sand EVERYWHERE!

One of my little fish. Tai has always loved the water!

It was so wierd. The colors without the sun at the beach were so blah! But when the sun came out everything was better! The girls still wanted to play in the water even if the sun wasn't out!

Cute little Addison-I love the sand all over in her hair and on her face!
Two little buddies:

Jake and I-Coranodo Island
The bridge to get there is so cool, you can see it in the background
My other little fishie: Yet again, we had to watch her so close, she just wandered everywhere!

Teya was not afraid of the water at all. She went into the water all the way up to her neck.
Tai making sand angels:

Thanks again to Mike and Liz, they brought out the jet skiis and we all got a chance to ride them. You guys always show us a good time when we come!
