This weekend was so nice!!!! I am so ready for summer (not mosquito's though). Yesterday we were out to the ranch and then girls were having so much fun, playing with sticks, finding pretty sparkly rocks, and throwing rocks in the water. Our summer has begun.
Jake on the other hand was having his own kind of fun. (I can't get the photos of him to upload, but I will keep trying). Kendall rented a mini excavator to clean out the irrigation ditches and where they flood irrigate. Jake was in 7th heaven. He asked me if I wanted to give it a try, and I jumped at the opportunity. It was kind of fun. If he would have given me a couple more minutes, I might have mastered it, but I kept hearing him say, "Oh dear, (pause) Oh dear." Which is his nice way of saying "Oh &**$@" So here I am, digging ditches:
And here is where Jake made me get out. See the pipe, the dirt is supposed to be flush with that, ok, I got a little to deep, but hey, it was my first time! And it was fun. Now I know why Jake was so excited!

FUN! You're so brave. I don't know if I would jump at the opportunity to work an excavator.
