Loosing our beans

I saw on my sister Lacey's blog that she bought her little girl beans to play with, so we decided to try it. The girls had fun scooping them up with spoons and putting them into different cups and bowls. I thought it was a great idea until Teya started getting handfuls and dumping them onto the carpet. One good thing about it is, the beans are easy to clean up!

Thats funny. I saw a thing in Family Fun magazine about filling a cookie sheet with a little flour and then letting the kids use their fingers to draw pics in it and it was fun until the flour ended up all over the bar and all over the floor =)

I loved that you guys tryed this out. As you know Maili loves it, but I usually end up getting mad at her because she takes hand fulls and throws them all over the room.

That looks fun! I was telling my mom we should do that with the kids (who happens to have been an audiologist) and she reminded me that while they don't make a mess, they do get stuck in ears, noses and throats...and my kids would make sure that happened...

P.S. I had misplaced modifier in that post...my kids are (obviously) not an audiologist, but my mom was. She worked with an ear, nose and throat plastic surgeon for over 10 years. I was referring to my mother in the parenthetic phrase, not my kids. :)
